Terms of Service.
Version 2026-10-01. Lead Finder is operated by Overbuilt Studio SRL, Bucuresti, Romania ("we", "us"). Questions: hello@madefast.dev.
1. What Lead Finder is
Lead Finder is a software tool that works inside Claude (Anthropic's assistant). It runs searches for business leads on public sources (LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram) through your own Apify account, using the Apify token you give us, and returns the results to you. It never sends messages, connection requests or emails for you, and it never uses your own social media accounts.
You get the tool as a Basic or Pro account. Each has a limit of new leads per rolling 7 days, shown in the tool and on your account page. We can change the limits, the features and the scrapers we use, and we will tell you about material changes.
2. Who may use it
- Businesses and professionals only, for business-to-business prospecting. Not for consumer marketing, and not by or about children.
- You must be at least 18 and able to accept these terms for yourself or for the business you represent.
- One account per person. Don't share your sign-in or let others use your connector.
3. Your data provider is you
- Searches run on your Apify account and are billed by Apify to you. Apify and the developers of the scrapers you run (for LinkedIn, HarvestAPI's actors) are your own providers under their own terms. We don't sell, supply or own the data.
- You are responsible for your Apify account, its costs and its limits. We set a spending cap per run, but you should also set limits in Apify.
4. You are the controller of the lead data
Under the GDPR and similar laws, you decide why and how the people you find are processed, so you are the controller. We process that data only to run the tool for you, as your processor, under the data processing terms on the GDPR page, which are part of these terms. In particular, you agree:
- Lawful basis. You have a lawful basis (usually legitimate interest, after weighing it against the person's interests) for every search and every use of the results. Keep searches narrow and relevant to what you sell.
- Inform people. Tell every person you contact where you got their data, at the latest in your first message and in any case within one month, and how they can object or ask to be removed. A ready text is on the GDPR page.
- Honour objections at once. When someone objects or asks to be deleted, stop contacting them, delete them from your files, and use
forget_personso the tool never shows them to you again. - No spam. Follow the rules on electronic marketing where you and the recipient are. Several countries (for example Romania and Germany) require prior consent even for business email. Identify yourself and offer an easy opt-out in every message.
- Respect the platforms. Follow LinkedIn's, Reddit's and Instagram's terms and community rules when you contact people. Never give anyone, including us, your account cookies or passwords.
- No selling or sharing. Don't sell, rent, share, publish or broker the data, and don't build databases for others with it.
- No sensitive profiling. Don't use the tool to find or infer health, religion, politics, sexual orientation, ethnicity, trade-union membership or other special categories of data, and never target children.
- No harm. No harassment, discrimination, deception, stalking, or any unlawful purpose.
5. Data retention and your files
- We keep search results and research on the people found for at most 12 hours, then delete them. Export or save what you pick before then.
- To avoid showing (and counting) the same person twice, we keep a keyed fingerprint of each lead delivered to you for one year. It can't be turned back into a name and is never compared across users.
- Files you export or keep on your computer (for example the workbook the Claude plugin writes) are your responsibility: keep them secure, keep them only as long as you need them, and delete people who ask.
- Lead data passes through your own Claude conversations. We recommend a Claude business plan, or turning off model training in your Claude settings, when you work with personal data.
6. Our part
- We run the service with reasonable care and security (see the GDPR page), but we don't guarantee that any source, scraper or result is available, complete, accurate or lawful for your purpose.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is used to abuse the platforms. Where we can, we'll tell you first.
- You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
7. Liability
- The tool is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, fines imposed on you, or your outreach, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us for the tool in the last 12 months and EUR 100.
- You will compensate us for claims, fines and costs caused by your use of the data or your breach of these terms.
- Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. Changes, law and contact
- When these terms change in substance, you'll be asked to accept the new version before using the tool again.
- These terms are governed by the law of Romania; its courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer or data protection rights.
